Bags Tournament Fundraising Event To Benefit KidsMatter Hosted By Team B2B of The Naperville Chamber

Naperville Chamber of Commerce TEAM B2B, is helping a local not-for-profit organization raise funds by hosting the 3^rd Annual Bags Tournament in their honor.

TEAM B2B, a Naperville Chamber of Commerce leads group that focuses on business to business relationships, will be hosting a bags tournament in Naperville benefiting KidsMatter, a nonprofit organization that educates and encourages the communities’ youth. This is the third year in a row TEAM B2B will be hosting the event.

The tournament will be held Saturday, October 22nd, 2011 at Players Indoor Sports Center in Naperville. There will be two separate bags competitions to choose from: a Competitive Doubles and a Social Doubles. Competitive Doubles has an entry fee of $100 per two person team. The prizes include $500 for first place, $200 for second place and $100 for third place. Social Doubles has an entry fee of $70 per two person team. First, second and third place winners of the Social Doubles competition will receive trophies and donated prizes.

In addition to the doubles competitions, a long toss game will also be featured. The object is to be the player who tosses the bag into the hole from the furthest distance. Participants can enter for $5 a game. The player who takes first place will receive a cash prize.

For a $25 general admission fee spectators can have a great afternoon as well as enjoy food and beer that will be served throughout the duration of the tournament. Boards will also be set up for non-competitors to play and practice. Families are welcome and kids 12 & under get in for free.

“This is our third consecutive year hosting the event and we anticipate this to be the most successful year yet. After the 2010 event we were able to donate approximately $5,000 to KidsMatter and this year our goal is $8,000 +. We are excited to see the turnout,” said Josh McBroom, Founder of the TEAM B2B Bags Tournament.
